Emerging Women was founded by Carolyn Williams Bangura, who transformed her own struggles with opposition and rejection into a passionate mission to help others. Today, we are a team of passionate mentors and trainers, dedicated to providing women with the guidance and unwavering support needed to achieve their goals and build a future of empowerment.

The Widow of Zarephath (ZARE-uh-fath): Trusting God in the Middle of Lack
Join us this month for an encouraging and faith-building Women's Bible Study as we explore the story of the Widow of Zarephath (ZARE-uh-fath) found in 1 Kings 17:8–24.
Sometimes God allows us to walk through seasons where we feel empty emotionally, spiritually, financially, or physically. The story of the Widow of Zarephath reminds us that God sees women in hidden places and performs miracles in impossible situations.
This widow was broken, grieving, hopeless, and preparing for death—yet God chose her house for a miracle.
Together we will discover:
- How God sees and values women in hidden places
- Obedience during seasons of lack
- God's supernatural provision and daily sustenance
- Faith through grief, pain, and testing
- How God can resurrect what appears dead in our lives
This powerful study will encourage women to trust God even when resources seem low and circumstances seem impossible. Come be strengthened, refreshed, and reminded that God is still Jehovah Jireh—our Provider.
